The Postal Services Department (JPP) of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) informed the public of some changes to the counter service, handing-over and delivery of small packages and parcels starting Monday, April 13.
In accordance with the Land Transport Department (JPD) press release dated April 9, 2020, the Postal Services Department will suspend all driving licence and vehicle licence renewal services beginning April 13. The renewals can be done through Darussalam hotline 123 service by calling 123 or by e-mail [email protected]; or through online via mobile application TransportBN.
It can also be done through the official government website www.gov.bn. Collecting and payment of completed applications will be carried out through drive-through at JPD branches.
In addition, payment for Astro, DST, utility bills will also be temporarily halted. However, postal services such as parcel delivery counters, registered mail, stamp purchases and premium services will remain open as usual.
Small packages and parcels will be sent to the addresses except for those that requires verification by relevant agencies. For PosLaju customers, the Postal Services Department will provide pick-up service from Brunei-Muara District to other districts.
