The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced that the working hours for ministries and government departments throughout Ramadhan are 8am until 2pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
For ministries and government departments working on Fridays, working hours are from 8am to 11.30am. For daily paid workers, the working time is reduced by one hour from the normal working time.
Meanwhile, the start of their working hours is upon the discretion and consideration of ministries and departments. The moon-sighting for Ramadhan will be held today at various locations.
In the Brunei-Muara District, it will be held at the DST Tower of the DST Headquarters in Tungku Link Highway, and Bukit Agok in Jerudong.
In the Tutong District, it will be at Bukit Ambog and Bukit Lumut in Belait District.
