Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms at malls, parks

Cleanliness and hygiene have always been a priority. With the current COVID-19 situation, it has become of utmost importance.

However, it is disappointing to find that public restrooms at shopping centres, parks and others are not being cleaned properly.

One example is at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas.

It is very dirty with tissues all over, the toilets not flushing properly and floor covered with shoe prints.

Even toilets, where a fee is charged, are not as clean.

Also, I do not see cleaners around. This perhaps is because of a shortage of cleaners?

Restrooms should be clean at all times; everyone uses it and it is believed to be one of the most germ-filled places. Moreover, what does this say about us to the tourists?

I would also like to advise everyone to use restrooms properly. After using the restroom, see that it is clean so that the next person using next does not have any complaints. We all should play a part to ensure that restrooms are safe and clean for all. I hope the authorities can do something about this.
