Lodge complaints if facing difficulty in receiving refunds from postponed, cancelled events

As a result of COVID-19, there iare several cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events. Many cutomers are currently facing difficulty getting refunds from companies or individuals providing services for events such as weddings and expos.

This was raised in a press conference at the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) Al-‘Afiah Hall.

Minster at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah advised the customers to lodge complaints to authorities such as the Department of Competition and Consumer Affairs of the Department of Economic Development and Statistics (JPES).
