The Land Transport Department (JPD) of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) informed the public of the closure of all JPD service counters and some changes to the JPD service starting Monday, April 13.
Application for renewal of driver’s licence and vehicle licence may now be made through Darussalam hotline 123 by calling 123 or emailing [email protected]; via online through the TransportBN mobile application; and through the government’s official website www.gov.bn.
Renewal of driver’s licence and vehicle licence issued through Darussalam hotline 123 that have been completed will be carried out via ‘drive-thru’ method at JPD branches.
Meanwhile, applications for other JPD services can be forwarded, paid and retrieved through the Drop, Pay and Collect services via drive-thru at JPD branches.
Prior to submitting an application for any of the above services, the public are advised to ensure that the terms of the application are complied with, the information updated and the required documents are properly organized and included.
Any application form and further information on applying and drive-thru service for JPD services can be obtained and downloaded from JPD’s website, www.mtic.gov.bn/ltd.

Meanwhile payment and retrieval of driver’s licence and vehicle licence that have been completed via drive-thru as well as sending of application for other services through the Drop, Pay and Collect via drive-thru is from 8am-2pm.
Payment and collection of application for other services through the Drop, Pay and Collect service is also from 8am-2pm.
JPD requested the cooperation of the public to adhere to the date, time, procedure and place of delivery and retrieval; to ensure that all documents (if required) and payment in the proper amount; in accordance with the specific routes and must be in their vehicles at all times; and obey the instructions of the officers on duty.
