Indonesia reports 214 new COVID-19 cases, 22 new deaths

JAKARTA (XINHUA) – Indonesia reported 214 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total in the country to 9,096, the government’s spokesperson for the COVID-19-related matters Achmad Yurianto said at a press conference yesterday afternoon.

A total of 765 deaths have now been recorded in the country, an increase of 22 over the past 24 hours.

Around 1,151 people have recovered from the disease, 44 more than the number of the previous day, according to data provided by Yurianto.

He said that the latest number of suspected COVID-19 cases across the country is 19,987.
