Members of the Esports Association of Brunei (ESB) on Saturday delivered freshly prepared meals to the COVID-19 frontliners as a gesture of appreciation for their daily sacrifices during the national health crisis.
Led by its President Abdul Azhiim bin Latif, members of the association raised BND650 to purchase 100 packed meals and five boxes of mineral water for the donation drive.
The association also received 50 pieces of mini burgers courtesy Top Folk.
The meals were delivered to Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital in Bandar Seri Begawan and the National Isolation Centre in Tutong on Saturday.
ESB said the donation was part of the association’s social responsibility in supporting the frontliners. The association also advised the gaming community in Brunei to stay at home and take part in online gaming tournaments as a social distancing measure.
ESB was formed in April 2019 to help facilitate the growth of professional video gaming in the Sultanate.
