A total of BND187,707 contributed by Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) postpaid and prepaid subscribers for COVID-19 Relief Fund was presented to the Ministry of Health (MoH) during a ceremony at the VIP Room of the MoH yesterday.
DST CEO Radin Sufri bin Radin Basiuni presented the donation to Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar.
DST launched the COVID-19 Relief Fund through SMS and MyDST application from March 27 to April 16.
DST expressed its appreciation to donors for their generous contributions for the fund.
Meanwhile, DST also presented BND150,000 to the COVID-19 Relief Fund to further aid the government in its battle against COVID-19.

In playing their role in together combatting the COVID-19 outbreak in the country and as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), DST is supporting the MoH to battle the crisis by providing awareness on the importance of being socially responsible and taking preventive measures against the virus through social media, radio, SMS and MyDST app notifications.
DST also contributed 25 sets of mobile phones with MOBI SIM cards and 10 EASI SIM cards with recharge cards to help the MoH to run its daily initiatives in curbing the outbreak.
A total of 15 routers with connectivity as well as 1,000 cartons of bottled water were also provided to the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong to provide wireless broadband connection for patients and command centres.
