The Ministry of Health (MoH) received donations as part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of a number of donors in aiding the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
Donations were received by the Chief Executive Officer Grade 1 of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Haji Azahari at the Al-’Afiah Hall of the MoH.
Among the donors were Ezy Printing Services & Trading Co Sdn Bhd represented by its Managing Director Dato Tiong Ing Ping who handed over 1,000 bottles of 500ml hand sanitisers and HLDS (B) Steel Sdn Bhd represented by its Managing Director Li Xiao Jie who handed over 10,000 pieces of face masks.
Visionmed Sdn Bhd represented by its General Manager Reigel Ann Sunga and Product
Manager Alex Sunga handed over 10 pieces of disposable Ambu bags, two boxes of HMEF, one box of suction tubing for the Accident & Emergency Ward in RIPAS Hospital and 13 pieces of disposable Ambu bags, two boxes of HMEF, one box of suction tubing and two boxes of non-rebreathing masks for the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.
Insurans Islam TAIB represented by Acting Managing Director Hajah Nornaimah binti Haji Zainip handed over a cheque for BND10,000, Dcon Sdn Bhd represented by Chief Commercial Officer Wong Ka Min, handed over 2,000 pieces of face masks and 2,000 sets of gloves, the Former Religious Teachers’ Association (PERGA) represented by its President Haji Abdul Rahim bin Haji Gantang, a cheque for BND2,150, Street IceCream represented by its manager, a cheque for BND1,000 and a personal donation from a representative of Allahyarham Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan bin Abdulkhan, a cheque for BND1,000.
