The Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) yesterday received contributions from Syarikat Seri Ladang in the form of 36 hand sanitiser bottles, 10 boxes of face masks, four boxes of gloves, 30 pieces of face shields, and four thermal thermometers as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts to assist the government during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Syarikat Seri Ladang General Manager HW Wong accompanied by his son, Jasper Wong presented the donations to FRD Deputy Director Lim Hock Guan.

The contribution is meant to assist FRD personnel working around the clock fighting the outbreak at the isolation centres and border checkpoints.

HW Wong said, “We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the FRD and the frontliners fighting the crisis in Brunei. Together as a nation we will be able to fight through this.”

The company also handed over similar donations to the Ministry of Health last week.
