Another group of companies and organisations contributed to the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday, as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to support the country’s fight against the spread of COVID-19.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar and Acting Director of Healthcare Technology Services Rudy bin Haji Harun received the cash donations and essential items on behalf of the ministry.
Cash donations were made by Petronas Carigali Brunei Ltd (PCBL) at BND100,000, handed over by its Head of Human Resource Management and Administration Pengiran Hajah Nor’Camellia binti Pengiran Haji Mohiddin; Setia Motors Sdn Bhd at BND30,000, delivered by its Director Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Ghaffar bin Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris; TSL Construction at BND30,000, handed over by its Managing Director Tang Sun Lee; PDS Abattoir Sdn Bhd at BND30,000, delivered by its General Manager Haji Muhamad Sabirin bin Othman; Haji Daud Properties at BND20,000, handed over by a representative; Archipelago Development Corporation Sdn Bhd at BND10,000, delivered by its Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Sim; the Shipping Association of Brunei Darussalam (SABD) at BND10,000, handed over by its Vice President Lim Jin Yong; Stesen Minyak Koperasi Persatuan Tiba (KOTIBA) at BND3,000, delivered by its Chairman Haji Omar bin Haji Mohd Tahir; Walltique Sdn Bhd at BND2,000, handed over by its Managing Director Loh Swee Sen; and Boza Group of Companies at BND2,000, delivered by its Managing Director Khairol Yazimanuddin bin Haji Borhanuddin. A personal donation of BND5,000 was also made by Anita Ramle.
Meanwhile, Megabond Sdn Bhd donated 118 cartons of mineral water, handed over by its Director Lew Hong Peng, while the Brunei Association of Japan Alumni Treasurer Dayangku Habibah binti Pengiran Haji Hidup delivered 12 cartons of mineral water.
