Donations continue to pour in for COVID-19 fight

Donations from companies and organisations, as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, continued to pour in yesterday to support efforts by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.

Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman received a cheque of BND5,000 from National Insurance Company Berhad, represented by its General Manager Klaus Tomalia.

Director of Healthcare Technology Pengiran Hajah Saadiah binti Pengiran Muda Haji Hashim also received cash donations and other essential items yesterday on behalf of the MoH.

Cash donations were made by Unicorp Sdn Bhd at BND10,000, presented by its Managing Director Lee Tek Lai; Yusoki Sdn Bhd at BND5,000, handed over by its Director Tang Kee Huong; the Brunei Institution of Geomatics and Asean Valuers Association at BND1,300, presented by its President Haji Ali Bakar bin Haji Kassim; and Hani Marzuqi Car Rental Sdn Bhd at BND1,000, handed over by representative Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Jaludin on behalf of Chairman Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Jaludin bin Pengiran Mohd Limbang.

C-Grand Trading, meanwhile, handed over 50 cartons of tissues by its Managing Director Jeffrey Ong bin Md Aminurzaman.
