The first batch of medical supplies, donated by the Bank of China, which landed at the Brunei International Air Cargo Centre (BIACC) last Saturday was swiftly transferred to the Ministry of Health (MoH) on the same day.

Since Brunei made the announcement of its first case of COVID-19 on March 9, the Bank of China has reached out to the MoH to work out ways to ensure a constant supply of medical necessities into the country.

With close coordination with its headquarters in Beijing, China, the RMB22,000 worth of medical supplies were successfully procured with the remaining donations expected to arrive in the country soon.
