57 pints collected in blood donation drive

Fifty-seven pints of blood were collected in the blood donation drive organised by the Ministry of Energy through the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre yesterday.

Held at the Banquet Hall of the Prime Minister’s Office Building, the objective was to support the efforts of the nation’s hospitals in maintaining constant and adequate blood supply.

The donors included staff under the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Energy, Department of Electrical Services (DES), Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), and the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam.

In ensuring the safety of all parties involved, social distancing measures as advised by the Ministry of Health were adhered to during the blood donation drive.

Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam thanked RIPAS Hospital Blood Donation Centre and the donors for making the event a success.
