As a continuation of the Muallaf Entrepreneurial Motivation Programme and the Muallaf Entrepreneurship Clinic held last year, Muallaf entrepreneurs attended the Entrepreneurship Incubator Workshop of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD).

The three-day workshop, which began on Tuesday, continued its second day yesterday at the Songket Room on Level 15 at the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) Building in the capital.

The workshop was organised by BIBD in collaboration with the Muallaf Development Division under the Islamic Da’wah Centre.

Twenty Muallaf entrepreneurs are taking part in the workshop, divided into three categories, namely: MSME, for entrepreneurs who already have products and companies; entrepreneurs who have potential for development; and hydroponic plant entrepreneurs.

Yesterday’s session focussed on the topic ‘Being a competitive entrepreneur and having a successful business’, as well as capital expenditure and operational expenditure.

The workshop is set to continue today with the topic ‘Opportunities for business growth (BIBD SME 360)’ as well as sessions on financial planning, technological innovations helping businesses advance and an introduction to the BIBD Payless application.
