Turkish security guard saves kitten with breath of life

ZONGULDAK, TURKEY (BERNAMA) – After being swept away by rain to the brink of death, a lucky kitten was rescued by a security guard in Turkey’s Black Sea province of Zonguldak on March 21, reported Anadolu Agency.

When he saw the stray kitten lying still on the ground under the rain, Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University guard Erkan Gonca gave it the breath of life.

“I gave it heart massage and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. It wasn’t alive (and) I did everything that I could to back kitten life… I am very happy…” he said.

He found the kitten during his routine patrol on the university campus.

Gonca named the kitten Kader, meaning fate in English.
