Malaysia’s Management and Science University (MSU) has been ranked 28th in the world and second in Malaysia on the 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject ranking for hospitality and leisure management.
The recognition is among the highest and fastest achievement from MSU across Malaysian universities.
The university was also recognised for several international and local awards including the accreditation by Asia Pacific Institute of Events Management (APIEM), the first Malaysian Centre of Excellence and the Gold Award School of Tourism and Hospitality by the Malaysia Tourism Council (MTC).
MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid said, “I am delighted with the university’s achievement on the QS World University subject rankings, which is a testimony that MSU is on the right direction for achieving our vision and mission of transforming lives and enriching the future.
“MSU enhances competencies with industry internship, community and creative entrepreneurship, as well as global exposure empowering graduates with the well-roundedness related to industry and sought after by employers.
“Extensive partnerships and collaborations with institutions in over 40 countries worldwide provide comprehensive mobility opportunities for MSU students, enhancing employability through global exposures by studies and internships abroad,” he added.
