Silent Walk 2020 cancelled

The Silent Walk 2020 in conjunction with the World Hearing Day 2020 organised by the Otorhinolaryngology Department under the Ministry of Health (MoH) for March 29 at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien during Bandarku Ceria is cancelled.

The announcement was made by the MoH in a statement yesterday.

Following the reported COVID-19 cases in Brunei Darussalam, the MoH is taking steps in tackling the spread of the virus and is taking safety measures to safeguard public health.

One of the steps is to stop mass gatherings and events including weddings and sports events. This includes the Silent Walk 2020.
