Secondary school students learn more about technical education

A total of 38 Year 11 students from Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School (SM PJNPHAB) visited the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Jefri Bolkiah Campus (JBC) in Kuala Belait yesterday as part of an educational trip.

Accompanied by their teachers led by Anis Bazilah, the students visited the IBTE JBC to learn more about courses, entry requirements and workload of the courses.

The group was welcomed by Academic Manager of IBTE JBC Rosmah binti Salman and Programme Leader of each course.

A brief introduction on IBTE and the programmes offered was presented by IBTE JBC’s Public Relations Officer Sazrina Mazri. The event continued with a visit to laboratories and workshop sites located in IBTE JBC including the Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE) Lab, IBTE Mini Plant, and School of ICT lab computer and networking bay.

The students and teachers observed classes in session and learnt about the learning experience at IBTE JBC.
