His Majesty sends congratulatory message to new PM of Malaysia

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send a congratulatory messages to Tan Sri Muhyiddin bin Mohd Yassin on his appointment as the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

In the message to Tan Sri Muhyiddin, His Majesty expressed his confidence that under the leadership of Tan Sri Muhyiddin, Malaysia will continue to progress and prosper.

His Majesty stated as a close neighbour, Brunei treasures the close and cordial friendship as well as the active cooperation with Malaysia in various areas. His Majesty believes that the long-standing friendly ties will continue to be preserved and strengthened in the years ahead for the well-being and prosperity of both countries and its people.

His Majesty welcomes the opportunity to work closely with Tan Sri Muhyiddin to enhance these important ties both bilaterally, regionally and internationally.

His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam also extended their invitation for Tan Sri Muhyiddin and Puan Sri Norainee binti Abdul Rahman to visit Brunei Darussalam at the earliest convenient date.

In ending the message, Their Majesties prayed that Allah the Almighty would bless Tan Sri Muhyiddin and Puan Sri Norainee and family with continuous good health and happiness and always be under His protection.
