Muara Police Station personnel found a box containing a bullet following an investigation based on information from a Facebook account that had uploaded two pictures showing details believed to resemble a bullet.
The personnel who conducted an investigation at a house at the RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau led to the finding of a box containing the alleged bullet.
Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel detained a male and a female and transferred the case to the Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
The RBPF reminded the public that it is an offence under the law of Brunei Darussalam for any individual to possess, keep or control firearms or bullets including parts and casings. Anyone found cooperating with individuals who are in possession of firearms or bullets illegally will also be prosecuted.
