Donation presented for Bendahara Lama fire victims

The Kampong Pengiran Bendahara Lama Fire Victim Fund received a boost with a donation presentation at the Brunei-Muara District Office yesterday.

Brunei-Muara District Officer and co-secretary of the fund committee Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim received the donation, contributed by the Association of Wives of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent and Deputy Permanent Secretaries and its associates.

Pengiran Datin Hajah Noor Yashimah binti Pengiran Anak Haji Hashim, spouse of the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, presented the donation.

Datin Hajah Jama’iah binti Haji Abd Manap, the spouse of Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; and Datin Hajah Hajizah binti Matyer, spouse of the Deputy Minister of Development, attended.

Group Secretariats Datin Hajah Norhaida binti Haji Sulaiman, the spouse of the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism; and Hajah Normah binti Ahmad, the spouse of former permanent secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office, also attended.

The Kampong Pengiran Bendahara Lama pre-dawn fire left over 100 people homeless, after 12 houses were razed to the ground last month.
