Belait converts complete religious course

Seventeen male converts from the Belait District recently completed the 101st Basic Knowledge Course for Muslim converts at the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Kuala Belait.

Guest of honour, Head of the Dakwah Unit in the Belait District Zikrinaidah binti Haji Mat Dikir presented the certificates.

She congratulated the participants and said, the course aimed to disseminate information about the Islamic Faith – including Iqra, Ibadat, Tauhid, Hafalan – as well as practical activities.

She adviced the participants to continue seek knowledge not only at the Islamic Da’wah Centre, but also other centres of learning.

Abdul ‘Alim bin Abdullah Igol expressed his gratitude towards the teaching staff at the centre on behalf of the participants.

Top three participants, Muhammad Dzulkarnain bin Abdullah Tingub, Muhammad Ade Yusaire bin Abdullah Satur and Al Anshar Adzin bin Abdul Halim Wong received a small trophy to acknowledge their performance.

The event also saw the presentation of tokens of appreciation to teaching staff and guest of honour.
