Allow withdrawals from TAP during COVID-19 situation

I would like to ask the authorities whether there is a possibility for the public to withdraw from the Employees Trust Fund (TAP) similar to what Malaysia is doing.

Starting April 1, Malaysia will allow Employees Provident Fund (our equivalent of TAP) members below the age of 55 to withdraw up to RM500 each month for a year.

This would allow them to increase private spending and help cushion the impact of COVID-19 on the economy.

I understand that the Brunei government is doing its best during the pandemic but I believe that allowing us to withdraw BND500 or less per month for a set time will help ease the financial burden especially those who are reliant on face-to-face sales (i.e: Stall owners, produce sellers).
