Forty participants of the Malaysia Future Leaders School, Tier 3, Asean Cultural Heritage 2020 Programme are in the country for a week to learn about the culture and best practices in Brunei.
The Malaysia future leaders, who are fresh graduates from secondary education, will experience life as a Bruneian with their foster families for three days. The host family handover ceremony was held at the Youth Centre on Thursday.
According to delegation head Nik Aliff Qisthi bin Ahmad Qazzafi, “We want to learn the best practices in Brunei Darussalam as certain practices can be applied in Malaysia, since we have the same language and similar culture. We also want to share our own mechanism and system to help the Sultanate achieve Brunei Vision 2035.”
