Some 40 members from the Harley Davidson Brunei (HOGB) Chapter organised a motorcycle convoy in show of patriotism in-conjunction with the 36th National Day celebration.

The meeting point for HOGB Chapter ‘We Love Brunei Darussalam Ride’ was at the Harley-Davidson Dealership in Lambak Kanan where models of the two-wheel machines converged for the annual trip.

A briefing was conducted by safety officer Mohd Faizalazmi bin Haji Metussin.

The convoy departed the showroom and made their way to Muara-Tutong Highway and proceeded to Jalan Tungku Link, Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah Highway, Telanai, Kampong Bunut, Bengkurong heading towards Lumapas before crossing Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAHS) Bridge to circle around the Bandar Seri Begawan.

The group concluded the expedition with a group photo session with the giant hashtag ‘#nbd36’ at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

Leading the 36-kilometre convoy was Club Chairman Abdul Malek bin Hamdani.

On this year’s National Day theme ‘Accomplishing the National Vision’, he said, “As future leaders, the role and contribution of youth are very important to maintain the harmony and unity of the people.”
