Some 50 classic and vintage vehicles gathered to ride in a convoy to commemorate Brunei’s 36th National Day last Sunday.
The ride started from Jerudong Park, made a pit-stop at Pantai Tanjong Batu before finishing at Serasa Beach. The ride covered over 30 kilometres.
The event was jointly organised by Nostalgic Motor Vehicles Association with B’Volks Aircooled Club (BVAC) and JTR to celebrate Brunei’s 36th National Day as well as to foster closer ties among the drivers.
Co-founder of Nostalgic Motor Vehicles Association Joeffry bin Haji Mohammad Yassin said, “Today we gathered for the ride with classic and vintage vehicles in Brunei and Miri to celebrate Brunei’s National Day. A vintage Datsun car from Miri also joined the event.
“This is an annual event that serves as a platform for drivers to exchange knowledge on maintaining vintage cars.”
At the final stop at Serasa Beach, the participants gathered for refreshments.
