WeCare to help 40,000 Syrian refugees

WeCare conducted a sharing session ‘SWW2.0 Mission’ in conjunction with Syrian Warm Winter 2.0 project at 934 Café, Serusop on Wednesday.

The session aimed at sharing information and experiences, provided an insight into the life of refugees. It sought to raise awareness on the ongoing conflict affecting Syria in the hopes of more people contributing aid to Syrian refugees in Turkey. WeCare President Muhd Akmal bin Haji Marsidi and WeCare member Nor Aliiyah binti Haji Mail, spoke at the session.

WeCare is targetting to donate BND200,000 to 40,000 Syrian refugees. Public contribution to the project has been opened since November, 6 2019 and will close on January 31, 2020.

Donations can be made through BIBD Application – Bill Payment, Progresif pay or Cash Deposit Machine.

The contributions will be directed to the purchase of items for the Syrian refugees in Lebanon Turkey this winter.
