Rimba Arabic School welcomes new students

The Rimba Arabic School yesterday welcomed 303 Year 5 students and six Year 7 students, who are the former students of Al-Falaah School, for the new 2020 academic year.

Present on a working visit to observe the registration of the new students was Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman.

The minister was welcomed by the school’s Principal Pengiran Hajah Radiah binti Pengiran Haji Md Tahir; teachers and staff members. The minister visited several classrooms and some of the school facilities such as the prayer hall, dining hall and others and interacted with the new Year 5 and Year 7 students and teachers.

The minister also conducted a Muzakarah session with the school’s administration staff and teachers. There are currently 1,861 students of Year 5 to Year 11 studying at the school for the 2020 academic year.

Also present was Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy & Religious) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang.
