RBPF hosts Dikir ceremony for recruits

Police constable trainees of the Royal Brunei Police Force 1/2019 intake comprising 78 male recruits and 25 Auxiliary Police Officers (APO) participated in a Dikir ceremony organised by the Police Training Centre at its Multi-purpose Hall yesterday.

Present as the guest of honour was Acting Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Hassan bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad.

Also in attendance were senior police officers, police personnel and their families.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by a Police Constable Trainee 6766 Jaafar Sadiq @ Adeeq Aqiel bin Abdullah followed by the recitation of Dikir As-Salai and Dikir Marhaban. It continued with the sprinkling of scented flowers led by the guest of honour and family members.

The Police Constable recruits will complete their training with passing out parade on January 9 at the Police Training Centre after undergoing training since June 17, 2019.
