A proud moment for RBPF recruits

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) yesterday welcomed 78 Constable and 25 Auxiliary Police recruits of the Squad 1/ 2019 batch with a passing-out parade at the Police Training Centre in Gadong.

The ceremony was attended by Commissioner of the RBPF Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, who inspected a guard of honour mounted by the new personnel.

In his speech, the RBPF Commissioner reminded the new police personnel to maintain standards of discipline, integrity and principles, as this would reflect their professionalism, high commitment and responsibility. Following the speech, the RBPF Commissioner presented awards and certificates to the most outstanding recruits.

Recruit 6816 Muhammad Iqmal bin Rafie bin Jafire, who received the award for the Best Overall Police Constable Squad 1/ 2019, said that the knowledge and skills gained during their six months of training would be used to further enhance the effectiveness of the responsibilities entrusted to him.

For Recruit 6772 Awangku Mohd Aliuddin bin Pengiran Norsahminan, who received the award for the Best Recruit in Law, the training provided him with extensive knowledge on Brunei laws and regulations, which would complement his police duties. Meanwhile, Recruit APO 7144 Muhammad Shah Riel Ardini bin Abdullah Kadai, who received the award for the Best Auxiliary Police Squad 1/2019, said that it has motivated him to seek more knowledge and maintain high standards of discipline, especially in carrying out his duties.
