Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nicola Rosenblum attended the SP Setia Sdn Bhd Chinese New Year open office celebration at their new double storey shoplots in Jangsak Curve yesterday afternoon.

Managing Director of SP Setia Sdn Bhd Patrick Choo welcomed the Australian High Commissioner and guests.

SP Setia Sdn Bhd was established in January 2006 (formerly known as PDB Gemilang Sdn Bhd) to market and distribute FMCG, OTC, personal care, health and beauty products in Brunei Darussalam.

The Australian High Commissioner said, “This is my fourth Chinese New Year celebration in Brunei Darussalam. I love visiting people’s homes to experience the culture in Brunei. My four-year-old daughter loves the lion dance. She loves feeding it red packages.”

Rosenblum explained SP Setia imports and distributes several Australian health products in Brunei Darussalam. Looking at expanding, she also hopes that the company will continue to find more Australian products to bring into the Sultanate.

She also highlighted that Bruneians know and trust the quality of Australia’s brand and SP Setia is an example of a company that sees the value in Australian brands.
