Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd started the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)’s new syllabus which focusses on practical approach.

“It’s not just ‘what they learn’, but ‘what they can do’,” said Megamas Senior HSE Instructor James Pretty at Megamas Kuala Belait recently.

The new syllabus will only have one written exam and the practical project is ‘Risk Assessment’ based. “The overall course is not as complex as before, but it still delivers the skills for a Safety Officer,” said James Pretty.

Megamas was the first training provider in the region to deliver the NEBOSH IGC in November 2004.

Megamas is also one of the three training providers in Southeast Asia and among the 25 training providers in the world to achieve the Gold Learning Partner status.
