Sixty Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Jefri Bolkiah Campus (JBC) students attended a motivational talk organised by Industrial Liaison Officer (ILO) Hajah Salenawati binti Haji Md Saji at the ICT Room of IBTE JBC recently.
The talk aimed to expose the students to career opportunities at the Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd, prepare students who will undergo industrial attachment in April as well as a sharing session from former IBTE students working in Brunei LNG.
Among the students that attended the talk were under HNTec in Building Services Engineering programme and HNTec in Instrumentation and Control Engineering programme. The briefing began with a safety briefing by Muhammad Yaslam bin Dullah.
Speakers were representatives from Brunei LNG – Learning Advisor Mohamad bin Haji Salleh, Project Engineer Taufik bin Ibrahim and Instrument Line Trainer Fazdillah bin Abang.
The one and a half hour included a question and answer session.
Hajah Salenawati presented tokens of appreciation to the Brunei LNG representatives. IBTE hopes for students to support and be prepared to achieve Brunei Vision 2035.
