As part of its continuous efforts to help raise awareness on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle in line with

Brunei Vision 2035, Plaza Sutera Biru in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH) conducted a Health Day on January 12 at Pusat Insani, Seria.

Various departments under the MoH, including the Health Promotion Centre (HPC), local agencies and companies such as Clarity Brunei and The Den participated. The event sought to help bring the various experts together to one venue to provide advice and disseminate information pertaining to healthy living.

Event Coordinator Fareed bin Idris said the event provided free medical check-ups and advice in leading a healthy lifestyle at each booth.

“We want to give free access to free health-care for the Belait District residents, especially for the younger generations, as prevention is better than cure,” he explained.

Fareed hoped that in raising awareness on caring for one’s health, such an event will help inspire others to do the same while encouraging future health check-ups to be conducted regularly.
