Doa Kesyukuran ceremony marks RBPF’s 99th anniversary

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to celebrate its 99th anniversary at the Surau of its Headquarters in Gadong yesterday.

Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.

Also present were Deputy Commissioner of Police Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohd Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid, directors, senior officers, officers and personnel and staff of RBPF.

Former police officers who have contributed towards the development of the RBPF to this day also attended the event.

The event began with a mass Maghrib prayer, followed by mass Sunnat Hajat prayer asking for Allah the Almighty’s blessings and protection for RBPF personnel in carrying out tasks in preventing and fighting crime.

It continued with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Kesyukuran as well as Tahlil and Doa Arwah for those who have passed away. Leading the recitations was Imam of the Police Headquarters’ Surau APO Sergeant 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar.
