Brunei Darussalam’s 4×4 off-road racing enthusiast Vance Lee added another accolade to his belt after finishing third in the Standard Petrol category of The Rainforest Challenge (RFC) Grand Final in Malaysia recently.

Vance Lee, who partnered co driver Yong Kiat, completed the race with a score of 1,924 points. Mohamad Rizal Ab Rahman and Muhamad Fariqal B Abdullah finished first with 3,420 points followed by Ikhwan Nassier Abdul Hamid and Mohammad Faizul Abdullah with 3,162 points.

“I brought my own Suzuki Vitara from Brunei to compete in the standard and grabbed third place. I am really happy that my efforts didn’t go to waste.”

On the race, he said, “There were 42 super stage hardcore racers. It was super tough especially in Kelantan where the water level was high because of the rainy season. I managed to cross the river and also conquered the muddy trails.”

With a passion for 4×4 off-road racing, Vance said he will continue participating in more competitions next year.
