Sultan sends congratulatory messages to Thailand

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send messages of congratulations to King of Thailand His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan o-Cha, the Government as well as the people of the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand.

In the message to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam stated that Brunei Darussalam highly valued the long-standing relations with the Kingdom of Thailand which have brought about close cooperation in many areas of mutual interest, and look forward to strengthening these important and much-valued ties for the benefit of both countries and the region.

In a similar message to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-Cha, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam conveyed his great appreciations for the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and looked forward to strengthening these much-valued ties, bilaterally and as partners in ASEAN. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-Cha on Thailand’s successful chairmanship of ASEAN and his appreciations for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality accorded to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and delegation during the recent ASEAN Meetings.

In ending the messages, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam conveyed his very best wishes for His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn and to Her Majesty Queen Suthida and members of the royal family for Their Majesties continued good health and happiness, as well as to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-Cha and Naraporn Chan-o-Cha and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand for a happy celebration.
