Eight lower sixth students from the Tutong Sixth Form Centre will represent Brunei Darussalam at the Singapore Technologies Endowment Programme (STEP) – Sunburst Youth Camp (SYC) 2019 from December 1-7.
The students are led by Deputy Principal of Tutong Sixth Form Centre Muhammad Shahnofazli bin Haji Sabli.
The delegation will spend an intensive and enriching one-week stay in Singapore along with young leaders from across Asia. The programme provides an opportunity for students to learn cultures, networking and build long-term ties with their counterparts.
Activities during the camp include Team Building Quest at Sentosa, High and Low Elements, Heritage Adventure around Singapore, Art Experience (Visual Arts and Performing Arts), cultural performances, exhibitions and presentations.
Acting Senior Special Duties Officer at the Department of Schools Abdullah bin Ismail, Principal of Tutong Sixth Form Centre Hajah Murni binti Abdullah, Acting Head of School Extra Curricular Activity at the Department of Schools Syahira binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Yusoff, officers and family members were present to bid the delegation farewell at the Brunei International Airport.
