Students from the Nursery School of the Royal Brunei Police Force who excelled in their examination this year received recognition during a certificate and prize presentation ceremony held at the hall of Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium of the Police Head-quarters recently.
Wife of the Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman was the guest of honour who presented the prizes to the students.
Thirty students received certificates and prizes while 67 students received the certificates for completing the school term.
Guests enjoyed a performance from the students of Kindergarten 1 and 2.
Meanwhile, Sayyidina Ali Secondary School (SMSA) held an award ceremony for 147 students from Year 7 to Sixth Form recently.
The event was held as an acknowledgment of the top students at SMSA and the efforts of the teachers.
SMSA Principal Steven Shim Sheau Huei said that support from the parents and guardians helped ensure the students received essential supervision and instruction for both their academic and co-curriculum pursuits.
The awards included top students the core subjects for each class, best in attendance and the best examination results. Awards were also presented to the teachers who performed well in supporting their students.
To further enliven the event, several Tausyeh performances were conducted by the Year 10 and Year 11 students.
Elsewhere, some 236 pupils of Seri Mulia Sarjana School Kindergarten 3 bid farewell during a graduation ceremony at Songket Ballroom of the Rizqun International Hotel in Gadong recently.
Guest of honour Philippines Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Christopher B Montero presented certificates to the graduates.
The ceremony also saw the presentation of trophies and certificates to the exemplary pupils for their resilience and hard work. The ceremony was enlivened with performances including songs.
