It becomes increasingly clear that smartphone are trying to win gamers’ hearts.
The Asus brand has made waves in this part with great emphasis on PC gaming through its subdivision Republic of Gamers (ROG). It has now delivered the ultimate smartphone gaming experience with the launch of the ROG Phone II.
CF King, the first and only authorised ASUS Premium partner in Brunei, launched the ROG Phone II recently.
It received overwhelming response from consumers, especially for those banking on the latest esports buzz.
Just like its predecessor, the latest ROG Phone II has been designed with smooth and snappy performance which makes it an ideal professional gaming tool, in line with the growing professional mobile esports crowd.
At 240 grammes, the ROG Phone II is one of the heaviest handsets in the market.
But the weight may not matter to gamers as the device comes equipped with high-end specs.
There’s absolutely no slowdown while using apps and games, and switching between them is nearly instantaneous. The spec include: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor that was created to be faster and more efficient during gaming; the speedy UFS 3.0 in 518GB storage (available) or 1TB (upon per-order); and its 12GB of RAM. One of the best features on the first ROG phone was the AirTrigger. It makes sense to see that it has made a comeback for this version as well.
The AirTrigger II offers both tapping and sliding motions. It is more sensitive with a vibration latency to just 20ms. Users can just rest their fingertips on top and do a light push to activate. There’s also an arsenal of accessories available for the ROG Phone II and a bunch of gaming accessories upon pre-order basis at CF King. This includes ROG’s first ever earphones – Centra earbuds.
Using the USB-C, it can support multiple platforms, including mobile phones, PC, Mac and other handheld game consoles.
It features active noise cancellation technology, a large 10mm ASUS Essence driver to deliver incredibly strong bass and optimised gaming audio. It’s ergonomic design with three sizes of ear gels and fins ensured a secure and comfortable fit.
