Neighbourhood Watch members honoured

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) presented appreciation certificates and Neighbourhood Watch appointment letters at Bandar Seri Begawan Central Police Station in recently.

Two new Neighbourhood Watch members from Kampong Saba Darat ‘B’ Neighbourhood Watch received appointment letters.

The RBPF hoped that with additional members to the group, they will work hand in hand with the RBPF to preserve the peace, security and harmony of their local community and forge closer ties with the community.

Four members of the public and four police officers from the Limau Manis Police Station were also presented with appreciation certificates for their assistance in solving cases under the jurisdiction of the Brunei-Muara Police District.

The appointment letters and certificates were presented by guest of honour, Acting Commanding Officer of Brunei-Muara Police District Superintendent of Police Haji Mohamad Khairul Amilin bin Haji Idris, who also inspected a guard of honour earlier in the ceremony.

The RBPF said the event serves to thank and appreciate the assistance from the public in ensuring that the country’s security is well preserved.
