I would like to raise my concern regarding the building under the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAHS) Bridge.
When will the building be open to the public or be used?
I believe the bridge is fast becoming a tourist attraction but the building is an eyesore, surrounded by ugly metal fencing and seems to be abandoned since 2017.
I learnt that the building was supposed to be a Visitors Centre with information and galleries about the bridge, souveniers, etc and a cafe or a restaurant. Perhaps the building can be used as a terminal for Temburong boats and a river cruise centre for tourists to take the Brunei River Cruise.
I hope the authorities can look into this especially since our country will be hosting the ATF (ASEAN Tourism Forum 2020) in January next year.
