International School Brunei (ISB) recently collaborated with the British Forces Brunei in Kuala Belait to arrange a visit from leading ASD and ADHD expert Dr Annie Clements, the founder of Autism & ADHD, a multiple award-winning Social Enterprise based in the United Kingdom (UK).
Dr Clements has over 30 years of experience in working with young people and has been involved in several research programmes that have changed the lives of the families she passionately fights for.
Being a mother of autistic children herself, she has a unique insight on how to support, work with and value children with additional needs.
ISB organised a series of student, teacher, and parent workshops during Dr Clements’ visit to the school focussing on how to support, work and value children with additional learning needs.
ISB also hosted discussions on a range of support strategies and tips for positive parenting and experiences with pastoral leaders from 15 local and international schools in Brunei.
