Kudos to government for Temburong Bridge

The Temburong Bridge will soon be a new iconic landmark of Brunei Darussalam.

The bridge has been a dream of the people of Brunei, especially those from Temburong District.

Now a reality, the bridge will stand as the longest bridge in Southeast Asia.

This is evident of the commitment of the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to help develop Temburong District and bring the people of Brunei closer from all districts. When the bridge is completed, it is our responsibility to keep it clean and not throw rubbish out from our cars.

We should also keep it in prime condition by restricting heavy vehicles of more than three tonnes from using the bridge (with some exceptions).

We hope this bridge may inspire us to appreciate the government’s effort in providing us the facility to drive in comfort between the Brunei-Muara and Temburong districts.
