A joint roadblock operation was conducted by enforcement agencies at different locations in the Brunei-Muara District recently, aiming to ensure laws and regulations in the country are being observed.

Brunei-Muara Police District, with the Traffic Investigation and Control Department (JSKLL), as well as the Land Transport Department, Royal Customs and Excise Department, Narcotics Control Bureau and the Religious Enforcement Unit participated in the operation led by Head of JSKLL Enforcement DSP Ang Lay Bee.

The Royal Brunei Police Force hopes that regular operations will instil more awareness on the laws of the country, while also encouraging the public to be proactive in relaying information to the enforcement agencies to combat crime, for the safety and harmony of the country.

The operation also allowed the enforcement personnel to interact closer with the public and build trust and confidence, in the collective effort to prevent and combat criminal activities in the country.
