A total of 50 participants from Mukim Kiudang visited several agencies as part of the Informed Community Programme (PMB) organised by the Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office from December 3-4.
The group was led by Acting Village Head of Kampong Kiudang Haji Saifulbahri bin Haji Umarali.
They first visited Department Adat Istiadat Negara and were briefed on Terasul and Bahasa Pengganti DIri by Adat Istiadat Officer Awangku Mohd Noor Hamaddi bin Pengiran Ahmad.
They were also briefed by Research Officer Mohd Zaim bin Mahmud on the history and establishment of Lapau building as well as significant events.
Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar and Senior Assistant Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara Dato Paduka Razali bin Haji Badar were present. The participants visited Kingston Beverage & Creamery Sdn Bhd ice cream processing plants.
They were also briefed on roles and functions of the company by Quality Control officer of Kingston Beverage & Creamery Gina Hermosura.
The participants visited Syarikat Peniagaan Malar Setia where they were briefed on the background and history of the company by Managing Director of Malar Setia Sdn Bhd Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Metasim.
They also visited Tunas Harapan Agricultural Farm Sdn Bhd where they were briefed by Supervisor Andi Setiawan on its produce including vegetables, fruits as well as a proper way on planting them.
The programme aimed to disseminate information on the government policy through talk, dialogue and visits so the community can understand, support and appreciate the government’s efforts in developing the country and achieving Vision 2035.
