Students of the Imparting Knowledge Programme (Curahan Ilmu 2019) were celebrated at the Youth Development Centre recently.
The event included a Doa Selamat, certificate presentation and closing ceremony.
The programme was co-organied by the Welfare and Communications Bureau of the RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau Village Consultative Council (MPK Mengkubau), TeachMeGuru and Youth Transformation Community Club (KKBT).
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin was the guest of honour.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Sofiyan bin Haji Abdul Kahar, followed by a song performance titled Bonda by the programme students.
Head of the Welfare and Communications Bureau of the MPK Mengkubau Fatimah binti Haji Jamil noted that the 33 students who participated in the programme from January to October had passed their Primary School Assessment (PSR) examination.
Two students achieved 5As, 10 achieved 4As, six achieved 3As, nine achieved 2As and six students achieved 1A.
She hoped that the programme will continue to assist students in need of assistance.
Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan said the programme will be continued in the years to come, and expanded to other areas, villages and districts.
Hard-work, perseverance and most importantly Doa (particularly prayers and blessings from parents) are key ingredients to success, he said.
The highlight of the event was the handing out of certificates to the students as well as certificate of appreciation to excellent teachers and sponsors.
The event ended with a group photo session.
