Free medical camp for Indian citizens at Indian High Commission this Sunday

The Indian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam will hold a free medical camp at its premises for Indians citizens in Brunei on December 8.

Five doctors and six paramedics will provide services on a voluntary basis at the camp from 8.30am-11.30am.

The camp will be inaugurated by Indian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ajaneesh Kumar, followed by a Q&A session on health related issues.

Paramedics will administer basic medical tests, including blood sugar, blood pressure and calculation of body mass index to participants. Doctors will provide individual consultations.

If required on the basis of medical test results, participants will be advised on the corrective measures including on the lifestyle modifications.

In specific cases, participants may also be referred to Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital if there is a need for further specialist consultation.
