Be engaged in students’ activities, parents told

Tinkerbell Learning School held its 17th Graduation and Awarding Ceremony for its students at Scout Headquarters, Jalan Gadong, recently.

School President John Robert Bartholomew said that the adolescents need active and courageous parenting. He encouraged parents to remain interested in their child’s surroundings and engage actively in their learning.

Guest of honour Kassim bin Haji Ibrahim presented the certificates, trophies and gifts to the graduates.

This year, 15 students from pre-school and primary department received academic excellence awards, while 19 received loyalty awards.

Awards were also presented to outstanding athlete of the year and best performance in class.

The event was also enlivened by a march past by 194 students from Kindergarten 3 to Year 6 to appreciate the efforts of students who achieved outstanding academic results.

The event ended with a stage performance by students such as Words of Wisdom, graduation message and Voice of the Graduates as well as singing performances.
